We both really concentrate when we judge but despite our considerable focus we sincerely hope that both exhibits and exhibitors also enjoy themselves as we both very strongly feel that shows should be fun for man, woman and dog!  

In the long term the well being and future of a breed is an integral reason for judging but nevertheless all concerned can still take pleasure from their day!!!  Judges should be:

•  logical,

•  scrupulously polite and

•  handle all dogs with the greatest of care.

As it is said “do as you would be done by”!!!  

John awards CC’s in Border Terriers,

Pat awards CC’s in Sussex Spaniels and

Sally awards CC’s in Sussex Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels and Border Terriers.

Sally and John judge various breeds at Open level.
